- November 17, 2008: Danny Gilmore, Montgomery, AL, has been in the studio since early February working on his CD. It's not easy defining one particular style for Danny. Is it bluegrass? Is it folk? Is it rock? Is it country. When you hear his CD, you'll have to make up your own mind.

- November 1, 2008: Grupo Veraz, a hispanic group from Coosada, AL, is in the studio recording a CD.
- September 26, 2008: Karen Glenn Carter, Tony Buenger, and Sandra Watwood have been collaborating with the Eclectic Town Council to cut a CD in commemoration of Eclectic Founder's Day. The Eclectic Town Council will have the CD on sale beginning October 18th. The CD will feature an all-original song based on a letter that town founder, Dr. M.L. Fielder wrote to his wife from the battlefield during the Civil War.
The intent is to give the listener that they are taking a journey through various battlefields throughout the Civil War and hearing songs as they may have been played back then; free form, raw, and soulful. Here's a quick sample....
- September 12, 2008: Knox Family Band, Eclectic, AL, finished recording their EP on August 26th.
The group is going strong throughout Alabama and the southeastern region, and just recorded their 5th release (4th studio project) at Guest House Studios. Here's a short mix of samples from the upcoming EP.

Wetumpka, and Eclectic!
