-Tony Buenger: Proprietor & Engineer
-Justin Clayton: Assistant Engineer
-Nate Carter: Assistant Engineer & Session Musician
Proprietor/Engineer/Tony Buenger: Tony originally hung his hat in Baltimore, Maryland. He is recently retired from the USAF and has settled down in Eclectic, Alabama. Tony’s interest in music began when his parents bought him his first guitar at the age of nine. He hasn’t put the guitar down since. Since the Air Force would move Tony every few years during his 22-year career, he gained a wide variety of experience in many different bands across the country. He’s played in rock bands, variety bands, corporate bands, disco bands, and swing bands just to name a few.
In 1994, Tony started with a small, modest home studio hunkered away in a spare bedroom. It was a small Fostex 4-track recorder using Cakewalk 3.0, with a few Shure microphones and synthesizer. Simple, but effective enough to compose and write simple instrumental songs. He upgraded the home studio as technology improved and his wallet allowed.
Assistant Engineer/Justin Clayton: Justin is originally from Alexander City, Alabama where he was very involved in music throughout high school. Justin was an assistant engineer and live sound engineer for about 5 bands during this time. He continued his love for music by enrolling in the University of North Alabama and in May 2006, he graduated with his B.A. in Commercial Music.
Straight out of college, Justin interned for Reflection Sound Studios in Charlotte, North Carolina. For two months, he worked with Bob Engel, Bruce Irvine, and Don Dixon to help record and edit the work of Anthony Hamilton, Solange Knowles (Beyonce's sister), The Drifters, and various other music acts.
Justin moved back to Alexander City at the end of 2006 and has been playing and recording bass guitar for multiple music acts. In the summer of 2007, Justin met Tony Buenger and the two became great friends. With the completion of Guest House Studios in 2008, Justin has been brought in as a staff assistant engineer and session bass player.

Intern/Nate Carter: Nate was born the first child of Phillip & Angela Carter on September
12, 1988. Exposed to music from infancy, Nate began playing drums at the age of four (being inspired by the playing style of his dad's brother Mike Carter.) In fact, many members of his family have traveled all over Alabama and the southeast known as The Knox Family Gospel Singers (the southern gospel group in which Nate currently plays the bass guitar.) Having played for various Christian bands including The Griffith Family (currently touring as "Griffith & Company"), The Whisnands, The Watts Family, and more, he has developed a love for and ability to play numerous musical genres (gospel, rock, alternative, blues, contemporary christian, and country.) He also participated in the Maroon Machine Marching Band for three years at his alma mater, Elmore County High School, playing bass drum for a year & snare for two more while being part of an award-winning drumline. In the Fall of 2007, Nate toured around the country with Huntingdon College's "Huntingdon First Marching Band", playing the drum-set on the side-lines & playing in such places as Michigan, Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia just to name a few. After taking his leave from HC, Nate met Tony Buenger via the Internet. After scheduling a tour & audition session, Nate has landed the position of intern at GHS. He has now worked up to assistant engineer.
